Clay Tips

I learn so much from other potters that I thought I would go ahead and start posting them as I learn them for posterity.  From the GACA meeting.

1.  If your porcelain (or other clay) is hard when you get it, drop it on the floor a few times (until it comes out of the bag), it will soften up.

2.  Vinegar is good for attaching pieces.    I used to make vinegar slip but straight vinegar seems to work just as well.
